CONDITIONS OF TENDER
1.
Bidders must buy a clearly marked bid document which is stamped.
2.
Bidders must pay a non-refundable commitment fee for the bid document as hereunder:-
(i) Grade A Markets 50,000=
(ii) Grade B Markets 20,000=
(iii) Grade C Markets 10,000=
(iv) Grade D Markets 5,000=
(v) Beer Club and Slaughter 5,000=
3. Payment of non-refundable fee shall be made in Stanbic on Account “Mbarara District Local Government- General Fund” A/C No. 9030013029198 using Stanbic Bank slips.
4.
Tender for Revenue collection runs for a period of 12 months only (from 1st July 2019 – 30th June 2020).
5.
For Rutooma Daily Matooke, interested bidders should pay Bid Security in form of Bank draft from a recognized bank worth UGX 2,000,000/= (Two million shillings only)
6.
Interested Bidders must read carefully the bid document before filling the document.
7.
All bidders must attach two (2) recent passport size photographs.
8.
Bidders for Grade A and B must show experience in related services i.e., attach copies of Agreement, payment receipts and award letters; etc.
9.
Those who apply as a company, association or group must attach relevant legal
documents as evidence for their Incorporation/Association.
10.
The bidder must be able to identify him/her self with either a copy of the voter’s
Card, passport, driving permit, valid identity card preferably a national ID
11.
The bidders must attach a non-refundable fee receipt (Original), the absence of which will lead to automatic disqualification
12.
An original letter of recommendation from the Sub county Chief of the Sub County or from the Town clerk of the Town Council where the market/beer club and slaughter being applied for is located and must be written within the bidding period.
13.
Applications should be properly sealed in envelopes clearly marked “TENDER FOR
(Name of Market/ Beer Club & Slaughter parish)……………………….” which should be submitted to the below mentioned address by 10.00 am on ……06th June 2019…………………... Bids will thereafter be opened at 10.30 am in the presence of bidders or their representatives. Please take note that late submission of bids shall be rejected.

Mbarara District Local Government Contracts Committee is not bound to accept the highest or any bid.
